It wasn&#8217;t as large as what I remember from the January show, but I did pick up some warmer gloves, and get to oogle some of the bikes at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.suzukiofnewmarket.com\/\">Suzuki of Newmarket<\/a> booth:<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mikekirk.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/04\/apr14_show.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mikekirk.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/04\/apr14_show.thumbnail.JPG\" alt=\"2007 GSX-R 1000\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Since I wanted to try my new gloves, and since it was another great day for a ride: (well, +4 and no rain)&#8230; I threw another dart at Google Maps and decided to visit <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/?q=2300+Yonge+St,+Toronto,+Ontario,+Canada&#038;sll=43.692701,-79.388065&#038;sspn=0.08403,0.17561&#038;ie=UTF8&#038;z=11&#038;ll=43.771094,-80.332031&#038;spn=0.324275,0.537643&#038;om=1&#038;msid=114009271877091870496.00000111f28f588d85a62&#038;msa=0\">Belwood <\/a>and it&#8217;s nearby lake. <\/p>\n<p>Things went OK the first 99% of the way&#8230; but as I got closer to where I though I should be going the paved roads started to run out, and the dirt parts were potholed, muddy, and rutted (not the terrain for a road bike). I had to stop and eyeball the maps I had printed to find another way around&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mikekirk.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/04\/apr14_close.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mikekirk.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/04\/apr14_close.thumbnail.JPG\" alt=\"Close...\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>After crossing a bridge over Lake Belwood I circled around a bit of highway looking for &#8220;downtown&#8221;. I stopped and took some pictures&#8230; I had arrived, hooray! (only about 100KM from home)<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mikekirk.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/04\/apr14_fergus3.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mikekirk.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/04\/apr14_fergus3.thumbnail.JPG\" alt=\"Fergus West\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mikekirk.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/04\/apr14_fergus1.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mikekirk.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/04\/apr14_fergus1.thumbnail.JPG\" alt=\"Parked in Fergus\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mikekirk.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/04\/apr14_fergus2.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mikekirk.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/04\/apr14_fergus2.thumbnail.JPG\" alt=\"Fergus East\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>But now that I&#8217;m home and have looked at a map, I can see that I had wandered too far and was in the nearby town of Fergus instead. I blinked and missed downtown Belwood. I had driven through it but all I remember were a few houses and a convenience store..
