We were one month from the ride date, so if our bikes were still winterized we better do what we had to to get them on the road!<\/p>\n<p>I &#8220;attended&#8221; the 2009 version of this ride. Notice I didn&#8217;t say I &#8220;rode&#8221; at that event. Well I did ride. For a few minutes. Then <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mikekirk.org\/?p=488\">had a few hours to contemplate the mysteries of the universe<\/a>. (but I <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=dsGJX0SrbUI&#038;fmt=22\">did get out in the end<\/a>). So I&#8217;m ready for a rematch!
